“The Girl Who Talks to the Gods” is my first sci-fi script, inspired by a mix of personal experiences, real events, and stories I’ve come across. Some of it comes from true encounters, others from people’s experiences, and ideas stemming from podcasts. It’s a blend of reality and imagination that creates a unique and compelling story.
“The Girl Who Talked to the Gods” – Film Synopsis
In 1994, Frank, a young teacher at Zimbabwe’s Ariel School, witnesses a life-changing event when his students claim to have seen a UFO. One student, Lisa, receives a cryptic message for Frank from alien beings, setting him on a decades-long quest for understanding.
Driven by curiosity, Frank embarks on a global journey to investigate ancient monuments, believing they hold the key to humanity’s connection with extraterrestrial life. Along the way, he meets Sally, who becomes his wife and partner in this extraordinary adventure. Their quest takes them from the pyramids of Egypt to underwater structures in Japan, encountering mysterious figures and experiencing inexplicable phenomena.
As Frank and Sally start a family, they struggle to balance their normal life with the weight of their extraordinary experiences. They meet Philippe, a former French Naval Intelligence officer, who shares classified information about government interactions with UFOs, deepening the mystery.
The story culminates in 2024, when Lisa, now an adult, reunites with Frank and his family. She reveals the true nature of humanity’s relationship with advanced beings and offers a glimpse into a parallel dimension where human civilization has evolved differently.
“The Girl Who Talked to the Gods” is a thought-provoking journey that spans three decades, blending elements of science fiction, conspiracy theories, and philosophical questions about humanity’s place in the universe. It challenges viewers to consider the balance between pursuing cosmic truths and appreciating the simple joys of family and everyday life.
